The client instructs Raine & Horne solicitors by returning a signed client care letter which details all information and costs, plus the Fixtures, Fittings and Contents Form, the Sellers Property Information Form, (and the Sellers Leasehold Information Form if selling a leasehold property). The Identification for Money Laundering purposes is required also.
Once it has been established if the property is registered, unregistered or leasehold, Raine & Horne solicitors can prepare a contract package to be forwarded to the buyer’s solicitor.

Once all enquiries have been dealt with and the buyers have received their mortgage, a completion date can be agreed and contracts can now be exchanged. Once contracts have been exchanged both parties are legally bound to proceed with the sale. The completion date is now fixed and the removalist can now be booked.
Once the transfer deed has been signed and the balance of funds have been received, the documentation will be handed to the buyers solicitor and the authorisation to release the keys will be given. Raine & Horne solicitors will make necessary arrangements for mortgages, estate agents fee and legal fees to be distributed and an account will be forwarded to the client.
